Project Portfolio

Project: Frank Broyles Field @ Razorback Stadium
Location: University of Arkansas - Fayetteville
Architect: McClelland Consulting Engineers

The natural grass surface of Frank Broyles Field at Razorback Stadium was replaced with a new synthetic in-fill technology surface. The apron around the field was also replaced with the new surface.

This project includes demolition and removal of the existing grass surface and approximately ten inches of sand under the playing surface. New drainage media and drainage systems will double drainage for the new playing surface. Drainage systems under the apron, surrounding the field, were replaced. Eight water cannons previously used to irrigate the natural surface will be relocated and used to help maintain a lower temperature on the new artificial surface. New water lines will be installed to provide drinking water near the bench along with more electrical outlets for cooling fans. Specifications call for pervious asphalt surrounding the playing field allowing for vehicular traffic. Installation of the new surface will be completed by August 1st 2009.

Project: War Memorial Stadium Pressbox Renovations

Over the recent years, management at War Memorial Stadium has been very diligent  regarding facility upgrades. We are proud to have been involved in several of these projects.

The new press box contains approximately 30,000 square feet. After selective demolition of the existing press box, elevator, and stair towers, a new Club Level, Suite Level, Press Level and Camera Area was added giving War Memorial state-of-the-art amenities. Two elevators were installed along with two additional sets of stairs allowing access to the plush new levels. This project also included installation of over 400 additional fixed seats. The project was completed before the start of the 2010 football season.
