The addition and renovation of the Compton Gardens and Arboretum family home of Dr. Neil Compton was a yearlong project that preserved the historic exterior of the mid-century modern house, which was once home to renowned doctor, photographer, and conservationist Neil Compton. This project included an event center addition that opens up garden views on the north side of the house and creates a downstairs lounge, ready rooms, and heated outdoor entertaining spaces to better serve the public. Additionally, an exhibit space and boardroom were added to the original portion of the house.
