PROJECT FACTs
The CARTI Surgery Center was delivered as a CM/GC project on CARTI’s main campus in Little Rock using an aggressive fast-track schedule and an early GMP established during schematic design. The phased construction approach included early release packages for civil, structural, exterior, MEP, and interior finishes to accelerate delivery.
The facility features six operating rooms, including two robotic operating rooms, eight overnight patient rooms, an IVR procedure room, pharmacy, 12 PACU beds, and a commercial kitchen. The project also incorporated prefabricated operating room ceiling systems, including lights, ductwork, boom mounts, and ceiling finishes, improving coordination and efficiency.
The exterior consists of ACM wall panels and curtainwall systems, while the challenging six-acre site required raising the building pad elevation by 16 to 20 feet and importing approximately 60,000 cubic yards of fill.
