The Ferguson Student Union and Recreation Center at Arkansas Tech centralizes vital student life functions in the heart of campus. The building includes a food court, student meeting rooms, and indoor and outdoor recreation activity areas.

The building is split by a north-south connecting lobby that separates the east-side recreation center from the west-side student union. The recreation center contains two full-court gyms, cardio and fitness space, group exercise spaces, and a recreation administration suite.

Support spaces, like lockers, first aid, and storage rooms, are located on level 1. To the west of the lobby, the student union will house a lounge space and a banquet hall that can be divided into 3 spaces as needed. Student organization spaces with a union administration suite will be located on level 2.
