acef breaks ground on new Campus
The Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF), a nonprofit workforce development organization that provides apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training for skilled trades across the state, recently broke ground on its new 40,000 SF facility, with donors and partners from across the state in attendance. This new campus includes 24,000 SF of dedicated hands-on training space for over 15 trades, grounds for heavy equipment training, and a community room for safety training and events. Kinco Constructors is the construction manager for this project.
Kinco Constructors' CFO/COO, who serves on the ACEF board of directors, has played a major role in ACEF's growth and in establishing its carpentry apprenticeship program. Additionally, Kinco has several team members who serve or have served as instructors in the carpentry program, and several who are in the program or have graduated from it.
