Huntsville Schools Opens Buck Vaughan Family Athletic Complex

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, February 20, 2026, for the Huntsville School District Buck Vaughan Family Athletic Complex, their new indoor baseball and softball practice facility. The facility is an open-area metal building with 12,000 square feet under the roof. The large indoor practice area is 10,000 square feet of turf with four retractable batting cages.  There are two coaches’ offices and two new locker rooms, one for baseball and one for softball. The project also included new outdoor softball and baseball practice fields.
