PROJECT FACTS

The UAMS Radiation Oncology Center is a three-story, 60,000-square-foot facility on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) campus, delivered through the CM/GC method. The state-of-the-art center features Arkansas’ first proton therapy system, utilizing an IBA cyclotron and gantry to provide highly targeted cancer treatment with protons rather than traditional X-rays. The facility also includes four LINAC treatment vaults, clinical treatment areas, offices, and a grand lobby. An enclosed sky bridge connects the center to the existing UAMS campus, providing convenient access for patients and staff.
